Rolling out gradually across January 2012, we are introducing our patient review monitoring service to our current Full Service SEO members. Starting later this year, we will offer this as a standalone-service. Here is an overview.
QR Codes
Five Custom QR Codes
We will be creating scanable QR codes for your website home page, the review/testimonials page on your website and also your Google Place Page, Yahoo Local page and Yelp page. You’ll get a total of 5 QR codes that you can use in print to encourage patients to read and leave reveiws.
Front Desk QR Review Sign
You’ll receive a Powerpoint file with 8.5 x 11 signs ready to print and display in your office. This image shows just one example. These signs are intended to be placed in your lobby area so that patients with smart phones can leave an online review before or after their appointment.
Review Monitoring
Every three months you’ll receive a MANUALLY updated Review Monitoring report. We will actually visit all you online review sites so you know what is being said about you on each site. You’ll receive one simple summary report across all your review locations. See a Review Monitoring SAMPLE REPORT
This report is designed to accomplish three things:
- Monitor your online reputation. Respond to reviewers and use their observation to make your practice better.
- Have all your review links and QR codes in a central place to make gathering new reviews easy.
- Collect review text in one place so that it can be published on your own website.
Why Are Reviews Important?
Reviews are an important part of your online presence. Not only do they help your profile pages (on Yelp, SuperPages, Google Places, etc… ) rank better, they also make it more likely that a visitor will consider your services. Collecting and publishing positive reviews that demonstrate a track record of success across many patients and medical conditions is a long-term investment in your practice success.
What Does PracticeLight Do For Me?
As a PracticeLight Internet Full Service SEO client, we will:
- Collect all of your major review URLs in one place for your easy reference.
- Collect review text in this document every 3 months. This allows you to cut and paste the text into brochures, flyers or other print materials.
- Create a Reviews page on your website which contains all the direct links to sites where patients can leave reviews.
- Create a Reviews page on your website which contains the text of the reviews we find on third party sites.
- Add reviews that you send us to your website.
- Add patient photos alongside their reviews.
- Add video testimonials to your website.
- Create a QR code for your reviews page that can be scanned with mobile devices.
What Should I Be Doing?
#1 Ask - You should make asking for patient reviews a part of your business process and assign a member of your team to be responsible for gathering a specific number of reviews each month.
#2 Make it Easy – You should make it easy for patients to leave a review. You can place a “reviews” computer in your office. You can email patients the direct link they need to use. You can provide a reviews QR code in your office. Anyone waiting in the lobby with a smartphone can scan it and leave a review.
#3 Take Photos – Ask patients if you can use their full name and photo alongside their review or success story.
#4 Record Videos – Ask patients for a 90-second statement about their experience with you and your practice.
#5 Coach Patients to be Specific – Ask patients to be as specific as possible. Provide a detailed BEFORE and AFTER of their physical state – and mental state where applicable. Ask them the thing that they like most about your service or that most sets you apart from other service providers.
#6 Pay Attention – Be sure to review the content and sentiment of your reviews and respond appropriately.
